The 360° Teaching with Technology Model

When designing instruction for a technology-enhanced, literacy oriented classroom, teachers must take into account three core elements:

  1. Learning—addressing content
  2. Orchestrating—routine events in the facilitation of lessons
  3. Inspiring—on the spot facilitation of instruction based on real-time classroom circumstances

The goal of the teacher should be to provide a seamless integration of technology into the classroom instruction, student productivity, and data determination and collection. Technology should not be used simply as a presentation tool, but rather as a daily routine utilized by teacher and students alike.
